HASL works as a promotion/relegation league with 2 up and 2 down each season. We also have a Women’s division that is organized separate from the main league. New teams start at the bottom. We currently cap the number of teams at 30 because of field and referee availability. If you wish to enter a team in the league, please submit a request to the league office (league-office[at]hasl.org) and you will be placed on the waiting list. Typically around 2 teams will drop between seasons, but there is no guarantee that you will get into the current season. Here is more info on joining the league as a new team. We have a Spring Season (starts in mid February and runs through May) and a Fall season (starts in August and runs through November). If you are looking to join a team see the Find a Team page for advice. Click on the Team website for contact information.
Founded in the Spring of 2011, the Women’s league is currently in a growth state as word gets out in the community. This season we are expanding from a 8v8 league to a 9v9 league. HASL has now turned over recruiting and roster management to the captains of each team. If you wish to find a team, the captains information will be below and you contact those captains directly. Also you can send an email to women[at]hasl.org to reach the Women’s Coordinator directly and be placed on the free agent pool. For general advice on finding a team see the Find a Team page.
